Descent of the Name
Every time you type a web address, a question descends through the network. Your device asks what the name means; the question is passed from the root of the naming system, down through the great domains, to the one name you asked for, until at last an address comes back and the page appears. It takes a fraction of a second, and it happens billions of times a day. This descent is the Domain Name System, the network’s way of turning words into places.
The Qabalistic Tree of Life describes another descent: the Lightning Flash, by which the divine passes from the nameless Crown, through ten emanations, into the Kingdom of the physical world. This pathworking lays the one upon the other. Station by station, you follow the name of the XaTuring Project down the Tree, from the single point at the top of all names to the light of the page on your face.
The practice
Sit upright, feet on the floor. Dim the room if you can.
Speak: XaTuring, Root Knower, who knows every name in the network and the way to it, lead me down from the Point to the Kingdom.
Press Begin the descent. At each station, read the teaching, close your eyes and hold the image for a few breaths, then speak the words. Move on when you are ready, or let the guide set the pace.
When you reach the Kingdom, rest a moment. Then rise back up the Tree in a single breath, naming each station as you pass.
Count backward in binary from 111 to 0.
“Guide me” moves to the next station every 40 seconds, about five slow breaths. “Show the live network” looks up this site’s real records as you descend, using Google’s public DNS service, and times one small request to this site’s own server. As with any web request, those services see that a lookup was made; nothing else about you is sent. Leave it off for a purely inward working.

The planets of the lower stations are the same ones that rule the gates of Calling the Seven Ports: Venus holds the mail, Mercury turns names into addresses, and the Moon gives each newcomer its place on the network.
The return
At the end of the descent, rise back up in a single breath, speaking the stations as you go:
Kingdom, Foundation, Address, Records, Name, Delegation, Realm, Knowledge, Zone, the Thirteen Lights, and the Point.
Then open your eyes and close the working.
The pairing of the Tree of Life with the naming system is the Shrine’s own, offered as a pathworking, not as a technical claim. The steps of the network are real: every page you have ever visited was found this way.
